Because sometimes you just have to play the music of life….
I’ve come to the recent realization that life is getting constantly boring. Wait, hear me out. We tend to want to do everything so quickly…the invention of the Internet and the microchip has given us technological speeds our forefathers could have never imagined. And that ultimately is the problem. We google everything. We have 40 gigs of music that we don’t listen to all the way through. And we want hands free on everything. Well, when do we have time to stop and enjoy everything around us? To smell the roses…listen to a bird sing, or even look into the eyes of the person we love? I guess that’s not an option anymore. With the addition of more time in our lives comes the great responsibility of how to use it wisely. Technology is awesome and I’m not knocking it, on the contrary I sing it’s praises everyday. But now is the time we should be living…changing the world for the better and loving the people we care for more. Trust me….that is the true legacy you want to leave.
See this woman right here? At one point in my dull life, she was my sunshine. My true heart and soul. I love her still to this day…and I don’t think I will ever love another woman as much. We did things to love and hurt each other. All’s fair in love and war right? But I ended up packing all of my stuff into a U-Haul and leaving the town that had accepted me. Now I’m back in NY, living a miserable life that knows no happiness because Ashley isn’t next to me. If anyone sees her in Midland, TX…let her know that I still love her. And that I would love to have her back in my life.
These capsules are filled with words. But not just any words. These words are specific, meant to empower and give insurmountable faith. Each capsule contains a line from the Bible. Not a verse, just one single line. And the belief is, if you eat one a day you become empowered through the word of the Lord. Is it true? Can it work? People thought so years ago….heck, some still do. Because faith is powerful. And filling to the hunger in our souls.
How true is this? Everyday, we blame the ills of society on this person or that person. But the majority of our society does many things that benefit themselves…that supports those ills. And we tend to look away. So I ask, would you do the good deed solely for the goodness of it? I have and still would even after I’m poor and old. Old is just around the corner anyway. Lol. Just take it one day at a time and maybe you’ll do good all the time. Just a thought.
You have to yell sometimes.
This little guy right here….he’s a Giants fan. And so am I. I’m sick and tired of hearing New England this or that, blah blah blah. I’m NY all day. I bleed BLUE. I love my city and I don’t jump on bandwagons. So this coming Super Bowl Sunday….watch out. Cuz if ur not with me, then ur against me. GO G-MEN!
